Meet Amy and Lane
After a trip to Europe, we couldn't stop thinking about the incredible waffles we had tasted abroad. That craving turned into a discovery of authentic Belgian Liège waffles, a centuries-old Belgian tradition made with yeast-leavened brioche dough and imported pearl sugar, and eventually, into My Liege Waffles.
After working in corporate America, we yearned to build a business that brought us closer to our community. In a state with winters as long as Minnesota’s, we love any excuse to get outdoors, share great food, and meet our neighbors face-to-face.
A Match Made in the Kitchen
Dough has always been Amy’s passion (if you know her, you’ve likely tasted her homemade bread and bagels). Pair that with Lane’s talent for crafting delicious, scratch-made fruit compotes, and creating authentic Liège waffles felt like second nature.
